The Buyer's cost guide

Useful information, that you as a Buyer may incure when purchasing your dream home.
These will prepare you and avoid any unexpected financial expenses.


- Transfer Cost

- Your agent would have supplied you with a table of costs.

- Note that the transfer duty is payable to the conveyancer approximately a month

before transfer.

- No duty is payable if the seller is VAT registered and the safe forms part of the seller's

VAT Table enterprise. The purchase price will either be recorded in the contract as

inclusive or exclusive of VAT.

- Bond Costs

- Only if there is a registered bond.

- Your agent would have supplied you with a table of costs.

- Occupational Rental

- If purchaser moves in before transfer.

- Always try and provide for a figure in the Agreement of Sale, even if the occupation is

on a transfer.

- Plans

- Seller 's are not obliged to deliver copies of the approved plans to the purchaser.

-Conveyancer's certificates re Title Restrictions

- If the purchaser intends subdividing or renovating.
